minimalism

huge storms today. rode home from the new job between the swells and had to let the bike dry in the hall. as for the new job, nothing surprising regarding that as I'd worked in the same kind of lab for three years in Austin. should be a good weekend gig, extra money for groceries and gas and so forth. enough blathering on that.

tonight i am making a pizza with roasted/herbed Yukon gold potatoes, cheddar sausage, and fresh garlic cloves. aside from meeting Leah for lunch (she also has a new lab job as you all may know, being good co-subscribers that you are) and the inevitable movie tonight, this pizza may be the highlight of the day.

looking forward to attending a BBQ tomorrow night for some cycling friends that just got married. and thus tomorrow's Blip will be more exciting as I will save it for that. Cheers, friends.

ps: this may be one of my most mundane journal entries yet as far as the writing goes. let's just say i am aware of this. and let's also just say that its the linguistic equivalent of my simplistic image above. somehow. bleh.
