lighten our darkness

Very sadly, I had to put Betty to sleep today. She had been a little quiet for a couple of days and an ultrasound showed she had cancer all through her belly.
She will always be remembered and dearly missed. Although there is sadness now, there was happiness before and there will be happiness again. Grief is nothing to fear, as it is just the confirmation that we have loved and been loved. That is never a bad thing.
