Whitley Bay Lighthouse

Spent the day at Whitley Bay today. First of all we went swimming at Waves - I say swimming, but it was more like playing on the pirate ship and having fun in the waves. After lunch we hit the beach armed with buckets and spades only to have to run to seek shelter from a torrential downpour. This was how the day continued - rain - sun - rain - sun, etc etc.

However, another lovely day was had by all on our hols.
