Disparate Housecats of Daytona Beach, episode 19
Circle of Strife Depression in felines is much under-diagnosed. Mirl, who is vastly more neurotic than Sidd, realizes that the numerous years in therapy have helped, but that he still is susceptible to days of dark moods. His loud whine is symptomatic of the onset of the condition. Today's relapse was triggered by news that the populations of seafood are overfished and waning in the world's oceans. This sent him into a precipitous downward spiral. Fortunately, he and his therapist have codified that good food will lift him from the gloom so he eats his favorite dinner - Tuna, Salmon and Shrimp. He figures if they are going to be gone soon he better eat all he can get. Sidd gets such logic and joins in. Misery loves company especially over food. Poor, poor pussies - so misunderstood.
