Monroe Clark Parade!

Each school year's end, the students at middle school Monroe Clark make COLOURFUL face masks puppets, cloth banners, dragons and standards, then they march (their own drum corps marks the beat) with police car escorts (lights flashing and intermittent siren blasts) the four blocks to Rosa Parks Elementary school where they welcome and then escort the new transitioning students who will be attending Monroe Clark in September.  (In fact, the very last banner in the parade said; "See You September 6th".)
