Sticky end!

I love the silky seed-pods left by the sweet peas, and it seems this tiny midge couldn't resist them either! Best viewed in large.

Spent most of the day at RAYNET checkpoint 20 for the Big Wheel 17 event - a 50 mile sponsored cycle ride to raise funds for St. Michaels Hospice in Basingstoke. 1,500 riders, horrendous weather, lots of flat tyres and minor casualties caused by slippery roads, but hopefully loads of dosh raised for the Hospice.
