The cat, just waking up from a nap. Something about his pose makes me want to put a tiny hat and a bow tie on him...

You're not seeing things, his eyes are indeed crossed. We think this explains why he's neither a successful jumper nor an insect killer. It's a good thing he's cute, because it's doubtful he would survive on his own if he had to live on the streets.

Of course, if he could talk he might say he would prefer street living to living with a woman who wanted to dress him in a bow tie.
