Day Seven: Unsupervised

Another day on which we chose to leave the kids unsupervised and head off on our own for a leisurely day exploring Troyes. Well, to be strictly accurate the kids chose to be left at the Gite as they showed not too much interest in Troyes.

The weather and the town was just great, wonderful medieval buildings and laid back atmosphere with plenty of street restaurants and cafes. We took the opportunity to stop at one of these for a couple of wonderful salads accompanied by a carafe of Rose wine for a really relaxing lunch. This one is my salad, toased Goats cheese on bread...probably best eaten out in the fresh air as it was wonderfully pungent and tasty!
