..and now it's on the wall!

Back in early Feb I blipped this photo. Now it has made it as a canvas on my lounge wall. What a lot we Cantabrians have been through since then.

The 22nd February (Canterbury's darkest day) happened and life has not been the same since.

There have been so many positives from the disaster and despair. The community spirit, the help from our fellow Kiwis and from across the world and the glimpses of the Chch to rise from the rubble. We drove through the edge of town today and saw many, many empty blocks but there is good news about the rebuild. I hope people can settle the issues with their houses quickly so that we can all be positive about the future.
