Macro: Swallowtail (pupa)

The larva from yesterday has now become a pupa. I wonder how it got off its skin over the belt around it's back - I wasn't present when it happened.

The Swallowtail hibernates as a pupa so I have to keep it in my refrigerator till spring and then wait for the butterfly to form and come out of the pupa. I hope you will have patience to wait for the next photo of this magnificent creature.
