Counting Apples

Dutchoak got quite demoralized after the -8 frost that devastated the grape, cherry, quince, plum and most of the apple harvest.

The beech and boxwood hedges have just about recovered, just as Dutchoak's morale has. He revels at the enormous crop of pears that'll be ready for picking in just a few more weeks.

Sitting back for a while and trying to detect the few Cox Orange Pippin's in the trees, he remembers this picture. What a difference!
