Newborn Kittens

Pearl began the birth at 9pm last night. The first two were born within 40 minutes but the last did not arrive until 1.30am! Five in total!
There was a slight issue with kitten number two when he/she fell down the side of the box that Pearl was nestled in. We could here him/her but could not find her anywhere and it was quite a moment of panic. And clear distress for the kitten. Luckily we realised where the little one was and returned it to it's mother asap. She seems perfectly fine today!
This little stripy one has won all of our hearts already. That little face is just unbelievably cute. I can't get enough.
Pearl seems to be getting along fine but looks rather startled that she now has a litter of five kittens.
So, so, so lovely. I can't wait to see some eyes! More to follow tomorrow..
