Today was a veritable animal blipping bonanza - I got the squirrel on the patio table, the woodpecker on the tree, a pheasant on the patio, a host of black tits, pigeons, but it was this stand off between two cock pheasants over the bird food that made it.

It was quite fascinating to watch them circling around, calling each other out and getting feisty. In the end they decided there was enough for both of them so no ultimate winner and no ones beak put out of place - just handbags.

Hubby wouldn't let me title it 'Fighting Cocks' - spoilsport.
