Convalescing

According to the vet, cats have a habit of doing it. One minute Buddy was outside the neighbour's house, the next he was behind the car when we were reversing. He is a very old but very strong cat as we really didn't expect him to survive, especially as we were about to head to Scotland for two weeks. Jenny has visited him in our absence and he has been very well looked after by the nurses at the vets, and today he came home. He has pins in his broken leg but he has been walking around reasserting his position in the study where he has to stay confined for a while longer. He did try his usual trick of jumping on my computer chair so he is definitely on the mend. Sleep seems to be the best healer, in his favourite spot by the window where he can keep an eye out for potential usurpers of his patch.
