Ex Battery Hens

Today we went to collect four ex-battery hens to keep Chicken Licken company. We do have names but have not been able to allocate them yet as we can't tell them apart; we have decided to wait until they grow some feathers or we can identify them by their personalities.

Chicken Licken is very interested in introducing herself and establishing a pecking order but we have to keep them seperate for a few days. I am sure they will get on fine.

They are lacking feathers at the moment but five them a few months and they will all look great!
