Tower- something to do with drying clay

Cornwall holiday, day 3

We went to Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum and Country Park in the morning. It's at a china clay pit that's still working so you can see the huge pit and diggers, dump trucks etc as well as a big bit with interactive bits about the history of clay mining. It was quite interesting and kept the boys interested for ages.

Then in the afternoon we went to Porthpean beach where we spent ages looking for things in the rockpools (well Cameron did, Andrew sulked for ages first because he didn't want to do anything because he was tired) and paddling in the sea.
