It's A Hard Life

There's more to maintaining a state of cat-like poise than you might think. A considerable amount of it involves nestling among flowers in the sunshine, watching bees, and occasionally sniffing the ground as if you're contemplating doing something of vital importance with it. Then comes an hour of laborious meditation, which to the untrained eye looks a lot like snoozing. After all that, you'll be ready to leap nimbly into action and pester people for your fifteenth meal of the day.

How they cope with the strain is beyond me.
