It?s hot today

Packing up ready to return home tomorrow. It?s all gone past so fast this year. Usually we spend between 21 and 28 days over here and this year's 15 days or so have seemed very short.

A last trip to Carrefour to pick up last minute supplies and things we want to take back to the UK. They insist this include a new swimming pool, although when the weather will be warm enough to have this out I don't know. The last pool we bought in the UK we ended up taking to France, and it's still there!

This is Gaby with her 4 lens lomography camera. She likes the rather strange action shots it produces, I don't like the film nature of it and attached processing costs! Emma's been out and about with her little Canon Ixus digital camera. I marvel at the way a five-year old can work all the controls properly, switching modes, replaying pictures etc.

Cathou and her family pack up and leave after lunch, destined for Revel. We spend the afternoon lazing in the garden. The temperature in about 34C and is quite warm enough thank you.
