Mike Dilger in full cry!!

Saturday at Birdfair was, quite simply, a brilliant day.

Arrived around 10 o'clock and went for a cuppa again to decide what we were going to do. There were quite a number of us meeting up during the day - ended up with around 20 I think. We also saw Bill Oddie briefly which was great - he signed a copy of one of his books for me.

Great talk on the Rutland Osprey Project, then Bird Brain of Britain hosted brilliantly by Nick Baker. It was good that he could make it as he had
been ill.

Then it was time for Simon King. Highly entertaining and very animated!!

We had a fabulous day and metSimon King - what a gentleman he is.

The evening lecture on Saturday was being given by Mike Dilger from The One Show. An absolutely lovely bloke who we met again on Sunday. Again, very entertaining - not sure he'll be too happy with these pics but I do have worse!!

A 12 hour day but really brilliant.
