Blue grama

This beautiful wee grass apparently "accounts for most of the net primary productivity in the shortgrass prairie of the central and southern Great Plains" in North America.

As we only have one tuft in the garden, so far, it's less important for the primary production on our allotment. On the other hand, it's precious to us because of its delicate appearance and its beauty!

After two weeks it was great to see the allotment again - we brought home one big "Green Hubbard" squash, some carrots and 'lemoen pampoentjies, a parsnip, and 3.7 kg 'Asterix' potatoes. Weather was really summery, with temperatures around +23°C.

Now we're off to see our friends T & J, that we haven't seen for a very long time. We're really looking forward to it!

One Year Ago: Back in the fifth dimension!

Cheers/M&Z
