Heather

On Vlieland, we wondered about the bright purple heather everywhere. It felt like there was something wrong. This morning I read in the newspaper that heather's supposed to bloom in spring, but due to the warm spring, the wet summer and the warm last few days of summer it bloomed very late. We enjoyed it very much though, and even decided to get our campinggaz set and picnic, overlooking a valley of purple.
