Double-header at the Park!

In Steam on a Sunny Sunday

Our local park, known as Cutteslowe Park has, amongst its attractions, the Cuttleslowe Park Miniature Railway (CPMR). The railway is run by the City of Oxford Society of Model Engineers.

On this sunny Sunday afternoon, as the end of the "Railway Season" comes in sight, there were many riders on the several trains hauled by beautiful model engines, mostly steam. I was particularly intrigued by this long train that had the double-header pair of engines, which I haven't seen before on the CPMR. There's lots of steam (and it even smells right!). There are many happy and expectant facse as the signal is given for the off!

I've shown some of the engines before, but here is

a collection of photographs that I took this afternoon.
