Tiny fly capture

I would appreciate if someone could tell me what insect this is please (many thanks!).

I'm back at the insect photos again, but today's is very special. Noticed a tiny fly on one of the flowers in the back garden. I was even more pleased when looking back at the photos I'd managed to get him/her in focus. The orange and purple flowers make the photo look even better as well.

It has been a good day for my photos...
