Sepia Sunset

Well, the first anniversary of the first big earthquake has passed.

The sun was still shining when I got home tonight so I celebrated by walking up the hill. I live next to it but haven't been up there since the 22 February earthquake. My favourite tracks are closed and I've seen aerial photos showing how much of the cliff (where I used to walk) has fallen away.

I stuck to the "safe" open tracks, which meant going down the way I came up instead of doing a circuit. It felt good!

I took a photo from the top as evidence, but it was looking straight into the sun, so this one will have to do.
