Helping Hands
These belong to my fabulous friend Helen, who gave up a valuable evening for me so that she could spend it cutting mount board in her kitchen.
I had 9 images I'm going to put in to a "none of us have done this before so let's just have a bash and see how it goes" exhibition on Saturday; and I didn't want the expense of professional framing as I'm not confident of recouping the cost. However, about 15 years ago I had a job at a framer's and I can't quite bring myself to use ready-cut mounts.
My ineptitude surfaced on Sunday when I had a go at doing it myself; and H agreed to rescue me. Of course in the process (she let me measure out once she'd worked out what was needed) we also drank peppermint tea and set the world to rights...
