Way of the Lakes

Been a really good day today. Spent hours cutting back trees and sorting the garden out. Looks so much better now, getting ready for Autumn. We then got the kids from playing out with their friends, much to their disgust! They moaned for the whole journey to Speeton.

Once we got there we had a lovely walk and the kids really enjoyed it. It's so hard knowing what to do. We get so much grief when we go for walks but once we start we have a lovely family time together which is so important to us.

In the evening we went to see 'Way of the Lakes' perform. I've known Lucy, the lead singer, for 17 years now and watched her grow up into a beautiful woman. She is now expecting her own baby! She has a beautiful voice and it was lovely to hear her band again.
