Three Pooches

Today the two Shih tzu (Max/black and Mitzi/carmel) went to the groomers. I was leaving the Writing Center this morning, on my way to the classroom when I got a text message from Mr. Fun letting me know that Max and Mitzi were both at the groomers. Gosh it's been 4 months since they were there. Numerous times we've bathed them, but finally they've gotten a haircut. Chloe missed the fun because, well, she just sheds all the time. She's not a Shih tzu, but she doesn't really care!

I had a great class this morning and then went to a big meeting of almost all faculty and all staff. Lots was discussed, but at the end of the meeting our Interim President spoke and explained that this year the college is being asked again to cut our budget by 3 or 4 million dollars. She explained that it's probably going to be a painful year. It was a rather discouraging moment.

It was good to come home to three pooches who really don't care about the college budget or the recession.
