Planning well ahead ...

When I blipped the lovely chapel/folly at Bawburgh last weekend I'd already planned to do this one as I passed through the village today. It's Bawburgh Mill, with the upper reaches of the River Yare, taken from the hump-back brick road bridge. Beyond the mill the river meanders several miles before passing under the road in the centre of my village, and on another 3 miles or so to a field on a farm where it rises. I'd love to find out exactly where that field is, and get permission to visit the source of this well-known river! In its lower reaches just outside Norwich it's joined by the Wensum to become one of the dominant and famous Broads rivers leading out to Great Yarmouth.
Here's a closer view of the mill zoomed from the bridge, and this is how it looks from the riverbank.
