Chaos and Calm

By KatKatzenjammer

My inner gypsy comes out... Part two.

FINALLY got my Gypsy tattoo finished.
But I use the term 'finished' kind of lightly... She was started on July 29th after months of planning, and meticulous attention to detail. The darling man that does my tattoos convinced me to get her done bigger than originally planned... REALLY twisted my arm. *cough* So, after five hours of work, she was outlined, shaded, and had her lips and rose coloured in.
Another four hours of work on her, and SHE is finished (and I am besotted!!), but while in the process of having her coloured, I told my darling tattooist that I want to turn her into a big back piece. He has a LOT more drawing to do now. And the poor man will no doubt have to deal with me being pedantic about the tiniest of tiny details.

In business mode, I'm sure I frustrate him. Good thing we get along well outside of the studio, away from the needles and ink.

I also got some Tim Burton inspired roses and vines on my right ribs/breast (for obvious reasons, I'm not blipping that one), as a tribute to the five deaths of people I cared about during the hell month in June/July.

Being the tattoo addict I am, I've booked in for two more on the 30th. I'll keep you posted. And will, of course, update when Gypsy's additions are put under my skin. Til then, it's very hush-hush.
