Bank Mill
This unprepossessing building is a scene of community endeavour.
It was bought in 1803 by Charles Cowan and converted from a corn mill to a paper mill and the paper it made was used to make bank notes - I'm not sure which Bank. It is now being restored as a paper making heritage centre.
