The Sounders

Went to my first Champions League game in a long long time this evening. Being a Newcastle fan I think it will certainly be a while until my next.

This of course was not the UEFA Champions League, but the North American equivelent. A really different experience to watching matches in the UK. The standard of football wasn't great, but the fans chants kept us entertained!!

The game finished 1-0 to Herediano.....the Costa Rican champions no less. This was mainly due to their keeper who had a blinder. The pre-match prayer he is saying in this picture obviously paid off!!!
