Mariposas amarillas

Barcelona is a nice place to live.
Even, one can find Mariposas Amarillas (yellow butterflies) like Mauricio Babilonia did in Macondo (Gabriel García Márquez novel: Cien años de soledad).

Here you can see the people that live in a typical street in la Barceloneta hanging butterflies garlands for La Mercè, the city fair.

The butterflies are made from empty plastic bottles, painted in black and some kind of plastic for the winds. They hand it with fishers hooks; remember that la Barceloneta was originally a fishermen neighborhood and they keeps their traditions with pride.

While writing this, my journal had reached 20.000 visits.
Thanks all of you and Please...keep comming
