Preparation

It is going to be a busy week, so getting ahead start.

Furniture restoration class starts tomorrow and this is my next project. It ticks 2 boxes in that it can be stripped and polished (in the garage) and then caned indoors on cold winter evenings.

I always take a picture of "objects to be done" when they arrive home as a record of the restoration progress, as I?m prone to have a sudden fit to "do things" and end up cutting out the cane or stripping off old polish before remembering to take the picture. This item has been in the garage for approximately a year, as bigger items took precedence.
