Cornflower heads

A beautiful day at my sister in law's - a family lunch to wish our nieces success as they go to Aberystwith Uni - one into her final year and one into year one...but then my sister in law will have an empty nest :((
I photographed these lovely blue cornflowers in her garden at the very beginning of the summer and now they have 'gone over' they still retain a delicate quality
