My Garden

As today is the first of the month I have decided, like quite a few people on blip, to take a photo of my garden from the same spot on the first of each month. This photo was taken from standing on the step of my shed and does not show the whole garden as the camera lens could not fit it in, but I stood in many place in my garden and this is the best one.

Before taking this photo today, myself and my husband have been pulling up more small conifers from behind the pergola, we still have about 20 to pull up. Resting now though, until the heat of the day has gone.

When we first moved to our house we had 135, 80 foot conifer trees, we got professionals in to take those down and it took them 6 weeks!!. Since then we have spent a lot of time and money in the garden and we are finally getting it to look nice.

Mowing is a bit of a nightmare it takes 4 hours on your own but we have 2 lawn mowers and 2 children who are usually willing to help out.

Still some projects to work on like getting a greenhouse and re-doing my vegetable plot but these are all things to work on in the next 12-18 months.
