Rainy Day Wear

Back Blip #3

About ten years ago G and I used to drive down to Mount Tamborine on a regular basis; which was the main reason for this part of the Gold Coast hinterland being the first trip we took with the kids after returning to Queensland.

The weather was less than great, but we got the kids kitted out in disposable rain wear and headed "underground" to the glow worm caves. The caves are an artificial creation on top of the mountain to mimic the natural mountain gorge environment that's being lost to global warming.

It was a big hit. What went down slightly less well were the leeches E picked up after wee G pushed her down a slope in the rainforest.
