Friday motorway

The joys of travelling on the M4 on a Friday afternoon. Saw a lot of red lights.

We took the kids to Legoland and managed to get a fairly cheap hotel for Friday night so picked the kids up from school and headed straight there.

What possessed us to travel on a Friday afternoon to avoid a Saturday morning? In fact it wasn't as bad as it was the last time we travelled on the M25 and that time it was a Saturday with a caravan on the back of the car.

As it turns out, the problem was not the journey it was the shock of Legoland itself: many years since we've been there and first for the kids.
