School?

This is what school looks like to us. It's contained on 3 shelves and is fairly well stocked.
However most of our learning doesn't happen from here, but when we go out and about and explore. This is something I need to remember sometimes.

Ido find that the things that the children remember are often not the book learnt items, but those things they have discovered for themselves whilst in a conversation/digging in the garden/picking fruit/reading a story etc. I find this very difficult though as I cannot quite let go of the idea that they need to sit and learn at least some stuff.

How this uneasy balance will work, only time will tell. Ask me again in 10 years time :-)
