Biarum marmarisense
A fall blooming arum relative from Turkey and Greece. The leaves come after the flowers and last until later spring when it goes dormant for a long hot summer. It is in full bloom here.
It will probably surprise many to see it thriving outdoors in Denver, CO. We do fine with many bulbs that are "tender" in milder but wetter climates because it is dry here.
