A Surprise THREE HUNDREDth

I'm on a bit of a high after going to a show today with 2 members of The Thursday Club (Cameron and Logan) - the other member, Magnus, is in Norway on holiday.

So off we went on the 11 o'clock train this morning to Glasgow. Lunch in a Weatherspoons close to the Kings Theatre where we were going to see the matinee performance of Slava's Snowshow. I had no idea what this was about, only saw a picture of a clown type person on the brochure. It was one of the most amazing shows I have seen, difficult to explain it, but there were a cast of odd looking characters, sort of clowns and 6 of the ones in the picture here at one point slowly walked off the stage, INTO THE AUDIENCE, over the seats and at certain points they took out bottles of water and fixed them to an umbrella, whirled them round and water spouting out into the audience. Another highlight was the blizzard at the end with white ticker tape whooshing into the audience, along with 4 massive coloured balls and smaller balloons which we then bounced back and forward. We were last to leave as pictures were allowed with one of the clowns who sat on the stage. The boys just ran about throwing the "snow" at each other - great fun. Something else they loved was the flame thrower outside Pizza Hut, watched that for a while then they had to sit at a window to watch him.

They both had a fabulous day (me too!!) Then I noticed tonight it was my 300th!! How did that happen??

Not sure that I have really learned that much since no. 1 back in August 2010, and I am not and "everyday" blipper, but I still enjoy it, and seeing what others are up to in their day (that's one of the best bits). It's great that I have come to "know" so much about people that I have never met (apart from 1 or 2 that is).

I like that this is my 300th because it was a brilliant day out:-))
