Tropical Port Douglas

Another tropical beach.. yawn...! We were pleased to leave our hostel experience in Cairns behind us and head for Port Douglas where we are staying in a tent with a power supply and a fan (luxury). Never again will I moan about being cold in the Scottish winter, or summer! I feel like I am physically melting but the beach is only a 10min walk and the sea is slightly cooler than the land. Apparently stinger season is a couple of weeks away here so we are still ok to swim, just ignore the saltwater crocodiles (no sign of any yet).

Oh man is it warm here!
