The Liver Building

We stayed in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool (nice enough hotel) and our room had a cracking view of the Liver Building. Went for a wander and tried to capture the building as best I could.

Apparently and according to wikipedia! when an honest man or a virtuous woman walks past, the Liver Birds can be seen to flap their wings. Surprisingly when I went past they failed to flap. Must have been a rest day.
