Poppies in October

An awesome sun rise this morning on my way home from nights, but missed the best of it as I went to sleep.

Got up at mid-day and needed to fresh air, and fresh it was! I went for a walk across the fields and spotted about 3 poppies in the whole field, left over from summer.

It was a bit windy and the poor poppy was struggling to stay up right, but I managed it lone poppy ! It was lovely to see a bit of colour still hanging in there!

Made me smile :)
