but which one though?

So I went for a play about with the cameras and after being used to Canons the others were a bit gobbledegook. I quite like the Pentax kr (particularly the price), but its only 12 mega pix. The Nikon D3100 seems good with 14 mega-pix and the in-built guide should help me figure it all out. And then there is the Canon....quite a bit more expensive, more mega-pix and a 75-300 lens (my favourite part about it all!).

I just don't know....any opinions welcome
