the towering tap

The giant tap!

here we have another sculpture from the Sculpture by the Sea trail which I've blipped before - Tamarama Beach and TV. I love this one! it really is HUGE. the tap handle itself is far taller than the average human, never mind the enormous spout.

took this while out on a run this morning - that's bondi beach in the background. it was cool to see the sculptures in the morning light and by 9am this morning it was already pretty hot for running. Still just blipping these on my iPhone but you get the idea :) they speak for themselves really.

The other day i heard an American tourist say: "why don't they have water running out of it?"...... that's right, australia - not known for its water shortages.

Anyhow, better go do some housework before M gets home from work, so it doesn't look like it's been all fun and games today ;) ;)

have barely had a chance to look at your journals over the last few days. thank you for your comments in the meantime. i do plan to catch up! :)
