Someone dear to me often uses the phrase 'familiarity breeds contempt'.

This week I've been thinking of this phrase in relation to the city I've lived in for the past 11 years and realised I rarely properly look at.

With the urban iphoneography of this blipper as inspiration, I have decided to do little series (starting here) of shots taken around Manchester.
