Took the helicopter to work this morning... well, maybe not. I'll start again.
Whilst cycling across the Kessock Bridge this morning, the MV Scot Ranger passed underneath, heading for Inverness Harbour. Large ships like this would normally only enter and exit the harbour near high tide, as the Inner Moray Firth is very shallow. This ship would possibly have been coming to collect a load, so being near empty, the required draught would be much less than fully loaded.
