The Thanksgiving turkey came home today to a great welcome. 24 & 1/2 pounds of local farm raised turkey. It's cooked, stuffed and flash frozen then wrapped in foil. Now it's ready to defrost in the fridge till Thursday morning. Then it will slide into the oven for 4 more hours. We had one last year and it was moist, delicious and a big hit. Much to Raspberry's joy, today was the day. It will be a week of torture, keeping her from jumping into the fridge each time the door is opened. The box alone is enough fascination for a month.
