There are times when I'm glad I don't own a DSLR.....I doubt I could have held the camera still enough to take a slow shutter shot like this if it was a DSLR, and I guess I would have had a lot of people looking as I tried to get this shot.

And I've just realised.....it was a year ago yesterday that I took the plunge and went on a photography course that showed me how to use manual settings.

I've felt much more at ease with a camera since then.
