Windmill at Jasmyn

This windmill is actually a restaurant. It has become quite a landmark along the main road. Behind the windmill is a fresh produce store with a well known reputation for bargains. People travel from Johannesburg to buy their fruit and vegetables from Jasmyn. It is Dutch owned and based on a large dairy farm. Local farmers supply the produce and it also sells imported unusual delicacies. Luckily it is very convenient for us. This is where we had our breakfast after the hot air balloon photo shoot last week.

Daughter T and I went through to Sandton today for her modeling lesson. We then had lunch with my Mom before visiting my cousin for tea. T had a party arrangement tonight and so we are just now returning from fetching her. (It's 11pm).

We had a busy but happy "girl's day"!
